VATULELE ISLAND RESORT
Vatulele Island sits south of the Coral Coast. The local people live in traditional village fashion – fishing, farming and making tapa cloth. The island’s resort has 16 spacious, architecturally unique villas offering upmarket accommodation in a relaxed atmosphere. Each bure is private its own stretch of sand. The villas have large open bedrooms with king-size bed and dressing area, sunken sitting rooms, floor to ceiling louvered doors that open onto a private terrace. There’s tennis, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, village tours, windsurfing, sailboats, sport fishing and the (not inexpensive) tariff includes all meals and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (including French champagne!).

Viti Levu is the main island in Fiji. It is the largest with the capital, Suva, in the east and the gateway for most tourists, Nadi, in the west. The other main towns are Sigatoka and Lautoka. Between Nadi and Suva, on the southern shores is the Coral Coast, home to a number of resorts. While palm trees, beaches and coral reefs fringe the island, inland the terrain is quite mountainous.
VOMO ISLAND RESORT
